I'm thinking of doing away with the grainy border style that I've been using on my glass deviations and instead replacing it with just a simple one pixel black border - like the ones seen on the deviations in my photography account. What do you think?
thank you for all of your descriptions, I just want you to know that they are greatly appreciated! I loooove glass. In fact my painting style is very much influenced by stained glass.
Why did you pick such a formal style for all of your descriptions?

O Spirit, whom the Father sent To spread abroad the firmament. Oh wind of heaven, by Thy might Save all who dare the eagle's flight. And keep them by thy watchful care From every peril in the air. - Naval Hymn.
I like to provide people with as much information about my work as I can. Thus, I have adopted a structure/style which allows me to do that. Basically, it's just personal preference.
I was just curious, since it stands out. That's a good thing, really, to have a style that stands out in the crowd. Great glasswork (though I don't know a thing about glasswork, so that's all I can intelligently say )

Hey Aaron ~ your work is beautiful! I am very proud of you. Thank you for the great, detailed description of your studio - very nice! See you in class ~Cindi
Very impressive stuff. The photos of your studio are interesting and the sort of thing that most people don't bother to think might be interesting to the casual viewer.
Is this a hobby or is it what you do for a living (or both)?
I was actually hoping that someone might like to see some of the tools and behind-the-scenes views of working with glass. Lots of people on dA work with glass, but few ever highlight what goes into actually making their pieces. I wanted to provide a more educational presentation than just, "this is my work, pretty isn't it?" I'm glad you found it interesting.
This is just a hobby for me right now. I'd love to make it into a full time business but the economics really don’t allow for it. When I can, I sell my pieces at local shows - typically two a year.
Soon, I hope to be selling some pieces online as well. My problem is that I enjoy working with glass more than I enjoy taking pictures of glass.
