Title: Breakfast In Texas
Artist: AJGlass
Image created by: AJGlass using a Panasonic DMC-LZ7 Lumix 7.2 MP camera and PhotoShop.
Medium: Glass
Type: Soft Glass (this means it’s not borosilicate)
Description: Glass Beads and LEGOTM Minifigure
Details: The LEGOTM Minifigure pictured is to show scale of the egg bead. All AJGlass beads have been properly annealed. Due to the differences in monitor settings, this bead’s color may look slightly lighter, slightly darker, or otherwise different on your monitor than the bead itself. The “white lines” on this bead are light reflections.

Status: For Sale.
Item: One handmade white and translucent yellow glass bead.
Price: $20.00 + $4 S&H (or $5 outside of the continental United States)
Contact: Please note me if you are interested in purchasing this bead.
Payment: PayPal.
Shipping: I ship beads via US Post in packaging suitable for glass beads.
Delivery: Please allow one week for delivery, longer for international orders. Weather permitting, I ship the following business day after payment has been received and cleared. Beads will be shipped with delivery confirmation.

Discussion: I think this bead would make an eggcellent centerpiece in a necklace and believe that it would also make an interesting subject for, or addition to, a wire wrapping project. This bead is created from glass, and like all glass it can chip or break if dropped/thrown/crushed or otherwise abused. This bead is NOT suitable for small children, and poses a choking hazard if swallowed.

Further comment: I like this piece because it’s unusual and quirky. There is unlikely to be anyone else with a glass egg piece like this one. So if you’re an egg lover, someone with a good sense of humor, or if you have a very unique fashion sense, then this egg-shaped glass bead is for you. I am pleased to be able to provide this egg as the fourth piece that I am offering for sale online. Note me if you are interested in purchasing it. The LEGOTM Minifigure is not for sale. Sadly, the glass manufacturer is no longer making this translucent yellow glass. So pieces made from this pretty color will become rare.

Sales history: As a member of The Southeastern Michigan Glass Beadmakers Guild, I sold many of my glass pieces at the 2007 Winter Wonders Glass Show in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. More recently, I sold numerous glass pieces as a participant in the 2008 Spring Bead Bonanza show, which took place in Southfield, Michigan and which is a show that I have been participating in for many years.

Guarantee: I will do everything that I can to make sure that you are satisfied with your purchase. So if you are not satisfied with this bead for any reason, please return it prepaid in its original condition and in its original packaging for a full refund. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please request return authorization in advance.

Looks good enough to eat!

Lego guys are ALL the rage. Right now there's about ten imperial storm troopers, Darth Vader and misc. clones running around my living room in various Lego Star Wars Vehicles.

Ya know, it just wouldn't be as awesome without the lego guy in there to tie it all together.
Love how oddly different this one is :)

Hello, we're from the BBC, ANY SNUFF?!
:iconajglass:
Thank you. :)

Your living room sounds like the place to be right now.

I have a rather large collection of LEGO and it's come in handy for showing scale in my pictures.

ZOMG! It's an egg!! I love it!! :lmao:

And now that I've gotten the silliness out of my system...

I love the shape of this bead, and the way the yolk part sits just perfectly on the white. Very realistic!

Thanks. :thanks:

I admit that I have quite a fondness for LEGO, almost as much as I have for glass. I really like how the Minifigures are just the right size to show scale. Since almost everyone knows how big a LEGO Minifigure is, they make for perfect comparisons.

I also admit that I have quite the fondness for the title of this deviation. It seemed to tie everything together - the LEGO cowboy, the egg, and the fact that everything in Texas is supposedly really big. Just like this egg would be to this cowboy.
